Dr. Kiran More is an Australian Board-Certified Neonatologist with extensive training and credentials in neonatal-perinatal medicine, including a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). His education includes an MD in Pediatrics from the University of Mumbai and additional fellowships at prestigious institutions like Sick Kids in Toronto and La Pitie’ Salpetriere in Paris.
He has held significant roles such as Head of Department at BJ Wadia Hospital in Mumbai, Neonatal Consultant at Sidra Medicine in Qatar, and Director of Newborn Transport at Christchurch Hospital in New Zealand. Currently, he works as an Attending Physician in Neonatology at Sidra Medicine, where he is establishing a Cardiac NICU and leads training programs in neonatal cardiac care and echocardiography.
Dr. More was an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell University, involved in teaching and clinical research with over 45 international publications and several book chapters. He plays a vital role in training neonatal nursing and performing advanced neonatal care, focusing on complex cases and high-risk follow-ups. As a mentor and leader in various professional organizations, he advocates for the academic and professional development of healthcare providers in Qatar.
He has been a teaching faculty for Neonatal Echocardiography training under CCPU courses conducted by Australian Society of Ultrasound Medicine and also at few neonatology conferences/workshops across India. He has delivered more than 25 talks in various national and international conferences.
Dr More underwent a fellowship Neonatal-Perinatal medicine and also targeted neonatal echocardiography (TnECHO) fellowship at Hospital for Sick children by formal training along with pediatric cardiology.
Dr More has completed structured research training in Clinical epidemiology, clinical trials, grant writing, and biostatistics under a Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program (GCSRT) at Harvard Medical school, Boston, USA. Dr More has a strong interest in neonatal hemodynamics, respiratory, NEC, Developmental follow up and neuro-critical care and has numerous international publications and couple of book chapters in this field. He is a reviewer for various reputed international journals and also an editor for the National Neonatology forum Journal of India and Frontier Peadiatrics.
